Man abused, slapped in road rage incident
Ahmedabad: A 23-year-old man from Bhavnagar on Tuesday filed a complaint with Vastrapur police alleging that a man attacked him and his friend in Vastrapur on Monday night. Kashyap Masrani, a resident of Ambika Hill Society in Bhavnagar, said in his FIR that he runs a plywood business in Alang.
Masrani and his family members had come to Ahmedabad to attend a function at his sister’s place.

On Saturday night, when he and his friend Neha Rajput were travelling in his car near a cafe in Vastrapur, an MUV car driver was constantly honking behind him.
Masrani stopped his car on the roadside after which the driver of the MUV began abusing him for no reason. That car driver came out of his car and began abusing Masrani. When Masrani objected to it, the car driver slapped him.
Masrani alleged that when Rajput tried to intervene, that car driver pushed her aside. The car driver called his other friends who allegedly attacked Masrani with sticks.
Masrani called up his relatives who rushed him to a nearby private hospital. Vastrapur police registered a complaint of causing grievous hurt, using abusive words, criminal intimidation, and abetment against unknown persons.
