PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) – A man was arrested after a drug bust Thursday in Plainfield, according to police.

Officers served a search warrant around 3 p.m. on Plainfield Pike after a lengthy investigation into complaints of illegal narcotics activity at the home.

During the search, police said they were able to seize evidence which resulted in 30-year-old Jacob Izbicki being arrested. Izbicki was transported to a local hospital with an injury unrelated to the search but has since been released.

He is being charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. Izbicki is expected to appear in court on Mar. 18.
