What TV shows has Jodie been in?

In 2021 Jodie dramatically quit the BBC's long-running science fiction series Doctor Who, after three years playing the first ever female Time Lord.

She first appeared in the show's 11th series in 2017, with her onscreen debut as the 13th Doctor coming in the Christmas Day episode titled Twice Upon a Time.

Following months of rumours that the acclaimed actor would be making her departure from the beloved show, Jodie released her official Doctor Who exit statement, reading: “In 2017 I opened my glorious gift box of size 13 shoes.

"I could not have guessed the brilliant adventures, worlds and wonders I was to see in them.

"My heart is so full of love for this show, for the team who make it, for the fans who watch it and for what it has brought to my life.

"And I cannot thank Chris enough for entrusting me with his incredible stories. We knew that we wanted to ride this wave side by side, and pass on the baton together.

"So here we are, weeks away from wrapping on the best job I have ever had. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to express what this role has given me. I will carry the Doctor and the lessons I’ve learnt forever.

In her first television role since her Dr Who exit, in 2023 Jodie starred as Tess, one of a trio of females at the heart of the story in Paramount+'s six-part drama One Night.

Paramount describes the plotline as "the story of three women whose bond was all but destroyed by the traumatic events of one night 20 years ago."

Jodie appeared in Broadchurch in 2013, where she played grieving mother Beth Latimer, whose son's death was at the centre of the drama in the crime programme's first series.

In 2017 she starred in Trust Me as Cath Hardacre, a nurse sacked for whistleblowing within the NHS, who is forced to take drastic measures to provide for her daughter.

As well as TV, Jodie has featured in a number of movies.

She doesn't talk about her family publicly or reveal any private information, so the gender of the couple's second-born isn't known, and they have never revealed either child's name in the media.
