My wife and I moved from the Phoenix area to Orange County, CA. Mark did the estimate for the move and he did an amazing job estimating the amount of boxes and supplies needed. Fabian (the mover/driver) did a great job moving the items into the house quickly and efficiently and safely. The two helpers he used were amazing! When moved to the Orange County area, Fabian and his helpers again moved efficiently and quickly. Also, they were able to get the items to fit in the storage safely.

We chose American Van Lines for our move from Central Florida to North Carolina and we are very glad we did. The entire process from the initial on-site visit, to the pickup and delivery of our furnishings, was very pleasant and without any issues. The entire staff and crew (Antoinette, Kim, Duane, Montana and Mo) were great to work with. Our driver, Duane kept in touch with us the entire time and was able to deliver our furnishings early (before Christmas) which was great.

We hired North American Van Lines to move from Pennsylvania to Minnesota after getting quotes from 5 other long distance movers. The quote was provided by Phil ** at L&J Moving and Storage in Pottstown, PA and is guaranteed to no more than the quote and will refund to client if the actual weight is less than estimated. On the moving date and delivery date, the moving coordinator (Dara **) texted me to check how thing was going and offered to help if anything goes wrong. When I need to delay delivery date due to unexpected factor, the company accommodated my request without additional cost.

The move itself went very well except for timing issues. Our driver Zac was excellent, knowledgeable, careful with our furnishings, and very pleasant to work with. His helpers were also very good. However, some packing was to take place on Tuesday of our move week with the load on Wednesday. Zac showed up on Tuesday in an 18-wheeler to begin the load. We weren’t quite ready. Also, he was to give us a firm delivery date on the load date. He said Saturday. He hedged a little but later assured us that a Mr. ** (Apparently the chief at Cord North American) said that Saturday would be fine. We cancelled our extra nights of hotel reservations at our destination. The next morning, near the start of our long drive, Zac called to say the delivery would not be until Monday. We had to rebook a hotel for two nights at an extra cost of about $200.

I cannot say enough positive things about North American Van Lines/University Moving & Storage - I was worried about such a big move from Ohio to Texas but all my worries faded completely with the professionalism shown me from the staff at North American. Blake was so thorough and quite accurate as to the cost of my move. Freida was my coordinator and was wonderfully patient with me and my many questions. Nick was the trucker and his expertise was evident when he delivered my belongings on time and in perfect condition. Prior to my move, I had gotten 4 quotes - of these, Blake seemed the most confident in his estimate and in North American, as a company, to deliver top-quality service. He was right. Thank you to Blake, Freida, and Nick for such a great experience.

Used their service for an out of state move from AZ to CA. We gave them an initial list of items that we intend to move and did not add any more items to the list. The agent we worked with give an estimate of $5500 for the move. We packed in all items in totes and stacked them in the garage. The loading was done in less than 3 hours and got no issues with the packers and they did a good job. I was sent a $2200 bill on top of the estimate a day after the load was delivered. The reason being the weight was more than estimated. I work in the engineering field and typically +/- 5% is acceptable for estimates. Worst case 10% since the agent didn't do a in person review of the items.

I give them credit for their prompt response to my request for a quote. Unfortunately, that's where their performance peaked. After being told by the call center representative --who continued to butcher my last name after repeated corrections -- that NorthAmerican didn't have any agents in the area that could handle my move a mere 20 miles down the NYS Thruway, I left thoroughly disgusted. I give them a legacy star for the bang up job they did with my family's move in 2006. Evidently, much has changed in nearly 2 decades.

The initial steps of the moving process was very present, and the movers were helpful and professional. Unfortunately, one of my boxes was unaccounted for, and of course, it was the box with my most expensive computer equipment. I submitted a claim, and they told me there was nothing they could do. I don't know if the box was simply and honestly lost, or stolen, but it has certainly left me disappointed, and if I need to move again in the future, I do plan on using someone else. If anyone reading this review needs to use this company, I hope you have a better experience.

Professional, Competent and Respectful. Outperforming most if not all other Movers in the area. Due to the Communication, trustworthiness and integrity of Mr. Carlton **, ,President, Lambert Systems and His Staff, alone with Mr. Mike and His Team, As a Soldier it made the decision to transport my Household goods and POV with His Company a True Blessing and I would Highly recommend Lambert Movers.

We paid more than $10,000 to North American/Allied to move a 4-bedroom home out of state; we had a number of issues. First, the representative took very careful inventory of everything and yet the final weight came in above the estimate even though we eliminated a golf cart and moved an entire truck load of furniture and boxes ourselves. Next, the moving crew on the other end put many items in the wrong place even though each was clearly marked with the room where they belonged, so over the days we had to move things ourselves to where they should have been placed before even beginning to unpack.
