CUSTOMERS of Bank of Scotland have been reporting issues with their app and online banking this morning.

Reports began appearing on Down Detector for the bank from around 7.15am.

According to customer reports on the site, which is used to report online outages, the majority of issues are with online banking as well as issues with online login and mobile login.

A message is appearing on the Bank of Scotland app for those trying to log in saying: "We know some of our customers are having issues logging on to Internet and Mobile Banking at the moment.

"We're sorry for this and we're hoping to have it back to normal soon."

Many users of the bank have taken to Twitter to share their issues with the online services.

One person wrote: "Are you having any issues with the app? I’m just getting a continuous ‘authenticating’ screen when I try to login."

Another said: "Any issues with your app right now? Can't seem to access it at all. No update needed and have already done a 'force stop'."
