Donald Trump stopped speaking abruptly at his rally in North Carolina on Saturday, keeping silent for several minutes as someone in the crowd suffered an apparent heart emergency.

Trump was speaking confidently about ISIS when he suddenly shut up and watched a man be taken away by medical crew in the building.

"Take good care of him!" Trump shouted. "You're not going to miss much... give him a hand everybody!"

Trump tries to return to his speech, but ultimately stopped again for several minutes. He then walked away from the podium, and watched the medical crew at work.

After a significant period of time, the ex-president walked back to the podium and said, "Did you see that?" He also mentioned the first responder who was working on the individual's heart.

"Get that heart goin'," he said. "Wow."

He then immediately started talking about tariffs.
