COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) — The man accused of shooting someone at a Columbus nightclub received a $50,000 bond.
Daryl Hill appeared in court on Thursday, March 21 where he received the bond. Police charged him with aggravated assault.
The shooting happened at Club Ada shortly after midnight on Sunday, March 17. The shooting injured one person.
The victim is out of the intensive care unit (ICU) but remains in the hospital, Columbus Police Chief Joseph Daughtry said.
He said it all started because of an argument between Hill and the shooting victim.
The police chief credits witnesses’ help and tips by the public in making the arrest.
He said it’s frustrating because something like this not only affects the two individuals involved but other customers who were trying to have a nice night.
