OAKLAND — Two men, one aged 33 and the other 43, were shot in East Oakland on Tuesday night, authorities said.

Both men were in stable condition at a hospital.

The shooting happened about 9 p.m. Tuesday in a parking lot in the 10100 block of International Boulevard.

Police said the two men were hanging out together when the younger man got into some kind of altercation with another man.

The man then got a pistol out of a pickup truck and began shooting at the other two men.

The 33-year-old man was hit in the arm and the 43-year-old man in the leg, authorities said.

The shooter then fled in the truck.
