Fort Smith police and the FBI arrested Quintavious Releford, 24, on March 19 in connection with a robbery at Cadence Bank on Grand Avenue on January 8.

Releford was already in custody following a robbery on March 15 at the nearby First National Bank of Fort Smith, also on Grand Avenue.

Releford was arrested and taken into custody minutes after the First National Bank robbery after a suspect matching his description was located in the 1800 block of N. Greenwood Avenue.

There were no injuries at either robbery or at Releford’s arrest.

Police say charges will be updated to reflect Releford’s newest arrest.
