Frontier Airlines clerk unleashes fury on ‘involuntarily bumped’ passengers after delay: ‘I will call the police!’

Hopeful Frontier Airline travelers received more yelling than airtime last week when gate attendants were nowhere to be found and they were instead met with a screaming operations worker.

Passengers for Frontier Flight 2746 were delayed for “three hours” at Denver International Airport on Sunday when approximately 25 people were “involuntarily bumped” and sent to customer service, according to a TikTok post.

Unfortunately for the weary travelers, no one was staffing the airline’s help desk.

The group was greeted with a metal door, which one person knocked on, summoning two workers who were not in the mood to help them.

“I will call the police,” one of the stressed-out workers can be heard yelling from behind the counter as several customers wait in line shouting back.

“We are busy,” he adds holding up his hands for more emphasis on his point.

The Airbus A320neo was originally scheduled to take off at 1:18 p.m. MT and fly to Tampa International Airport, according to flight tracking website FlightAware.com.

The flight’s departure was delayed two hours, and the Frontier flight arrived in Florida just after 8:30 p.m. ET.

“There are six stalls, where the f–k is anybody,” one person can be heard yelling back.

“Busy!” the worker shouts, seemingly startling one of the customers in line.

One of the passengers attempted to calm the heated exchange down by speaking in a normal, quieter tone, but it did little to help the situation as several others repeatedly shouted “liar” back at the workers.

“If somebody comes out and says ‘hey, we’re busy’ then we’ll [sic],” the passenger begins to say before he’s cut off.

“Who’s coming out, this isn’t even my job, I’m in operations,” the worker responds. “Everyone who works here is busy.”

“We’ve been standing here for how long, get your s–t together,”

As the back-and-forth jawing continued, a third airport staffer arrived and stood between the angry customers and the other staffers saying she would have one of the workers escorted out, before leaving the area again.

“I want to apologize, we are short-staffed,” the budget airline employee says before announcing a short break.

“I will be back in about 25 minutes, give me a moment,” the staffer adds before walking off camera.

TikTok users took to the comments to share their grievances with the current concerns of the flight industry.

“This is why I teleport everywhere,” one comment read.

“Frontier is the worst but it’s not the employee’s fault. Some of them can be horrible though. Seems like this man was overwhelmed,” another said defending the worker.

Others shared they have planned cross-country road trips because “airlines are effing crazy right now.”
