Tractor-trailer rollover spills thousands of pineapples on Interstate 495

A tractor-trailer crash in Westford, Massachusetts, on Saturday morning led to a massive fruit spill.

Massachusetts State Police responded to the northbound side of Interstate 495 for a two-vehicle crash.

The collision caused a tractor-trailer to roll over off the side of the road, spilling thousands of pineapples onto the brush, according to officials.

Police closed two lanes of I-495 north to clean up the debris.

The driver was taken to Lowell General Hospital with minor injuries.
