Adirondack Thunder Set to Host Annual "Stick it to Cancer" Weekend Friday and Saturday

Albany, N.Y. — The Adirondack Thunder will hold their fan-favorite "Stick it to Cancer" weekend this upcoming weekend at Cool Insuring Arena.

On Friday and Saturday, the North Division-leading Thunder will face the Reading Royals in special jerseys, which will be auctioned after Saturday's game to benefit the CR Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital.

Fans will be able to paint the ice after Friday’s game to share inspirational messages or honor loved ones with a $10 donation to the CR Woods Cancer Center.

Saturday evening’s game will then be played on the famous painted ice. Both nights have a face-off set for 7:00 p.m.

In year's past, donations have exceeded the $30,000 mark. A special weekend all for a special cause coming up in Glens Falls.
