The real estate arm of Cook Out has paid $2.1 million to purchase a Thomasville property that was the site of a Denny's restaurant, the latest in a series of property purchases across the Triad.
A Davidson County Register of Deeds filing on Monday listed Cook-Out Southhaven Inc. buying the 0.61-acre property at 103 Sedgehill Drive that contains a 5,848-square-foot building. The seller is Fast Pace of Folly Beach, S.C.
Since June 2021, Cook Out’s real estate arm has spent a combined $27.6 million on 17 Triad properties.
The site could be appealing for a Cook Out location, particularly given Clemmons has been considered a prime spot for the chain even in a very competitive marketplace.
