Throughout the month of April, the Athens County Sheriff’s Office will be working in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Ohio Traffic Safety Office, and surrounding jurisdictions to conduct traffic enforcement. This enforcement begins on April 1 and will continue through April 30. During this time, there will be an increased presence of law enforcement on our streets, county roads, and highways in order to deter traffic offenses that pose a danger to our community.
