SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — A motorcyclist died Friday, nearly a week after getting into a crash on US-176.

South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred on March 16 at 4:43 p.m., on US-176 at Poteat Hill Drive.

The motorcyclist was traveling west on the highway, when a 2016 BMW was entering the road from a private driveway. The car and motorcycle then collided into one another.

According to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, Roland Van Crocker, 50, died at Spartanburg Medical Center at around 7:16 p.m.

The coroner’s office added that South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
