NASHVILLE, Tenn. – KOLR 10 Investigates has been in contact with the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) regarding an investigation into Luke’s 32 Bridge, the bar where missing Springfield native Riley Strain got separated from his fraternity brothers on March 8.

Strain got kicked out of the Broadway bar on Friday around 9:45. His friends say it was the last time they saw him, though surveillance footage in the minutes after that showed Strain stumbling and struggling to stand up straight.

Although TABC denied KOLR 10 Investigates’ request for public records related to the investigation into Luke Bryan’s namesake Nashville bar, the commission confirmed there is an active investigation.

Strain family friend Chris Dingman is hopeful TABC’s involvement will increase the amount of resources available to search for Riley.

“Authorities are now doing an investigation into the bar,” said Dingman. “What that means to me is all alcohol, beer, liquor, and wine is all federally regulated. So when they got brought into this, that now means we will have even more resources than we currently have with Metropolitan Police.”
