Warmer temps with some rain chances ahead this weekend
High temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s for the next several days
ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Tranquil sunshine will continue to dominate our region this afternoon as an area of high pressure settles in from the northwest. Expect sunny skies with a light northwest breeze with high temperatures in the upper 30s, a dozen degrees colder than the seasonal average.
Warmer air will begin to build northward into the region tonight. Under a clear sky, temperatures will drop to the low 20s before rising a few degrees after midnight.
After a party sunny morning, clouds in the afternoon will thicken tomorrow. High temperatures on Good Friday will be in the low 50s with a southeasterly breeze. There will be a chance of sprinkles in the late afternoon and evening with spotty rain showers later Friday night.
There will be a few breaks in our cloud cover on Saturday with a brisk northwest breeze. High temperatures will be in the mid and upper 40s.
Clouds will hang around on Sunday with a chance for a few stray rain showers in the afternoon and evening. High temperatures on Easter will be in the upper 40s.
Expect light rain showers on Monday with a chance for some snowflakes to mix with rain showers early next Tuesday morning. High temperatures will be in the 40s to start the upcoming week.
Warm air will build into the region from next Wednesday through the following weekend. High temperatures will slowly climb from the mid-50s to the low-60s.
