Aaron Fine will be playing at the next level for the Purdue Boilermakers.

Fine, a 2024 basketball standout at Noblesville, announced Wednesday on social media that he committed to Purdue as a preferred walk-on.

The guard led Noblesville to a No. 2 ranking this season in 4A. The Millers met up with No. 1 Fishers in the sectional final and lost, 49-47. During his time in high school, Fine scored over 1,000 points.

He was an Indiana Junior All-Star last season after averaging 13.8 points, 3.5 assists and 3.4 rebounds to help Noblesville to the program’s first sectional championship since 2010

“One of Aaron’s greatest characteristics is that he always wants to be in the gym,” Noblesville coach Scott McClelland said. “The just loves being in the gym, working on his game. He’s really grown in his leadership the last three years.”
