Since enlisting in the South Korean military service, BTS' youngest member, Jeon Jung-kook aka Jungkook has not been active online much.

BTS' youngest member, Jeon Jung-kook aka Jungkook, who used to be quite active online, has been missing from online platforms since he enlisted in the South Korean military service.

His absence was worrying for his fans as Jungkook would regularly go online and communicate with ARMY for hours on end, and even hold mini-concerts, chat, and even sleep when the live streams. However on Saturday (March 16) Jungkook surprised the ARMY with a heartfelt message.

Taking to Weverse, a fan-interacting platform, Jungkook not only left a message for the fans but also informed them about his well-being and how he was cleaning and cooking rice perfectly.

In his post, Jungkook wrote in Korean, roughly translated to: "ARMY, how are you doing? I'm doing well. I've been working out a lot, too. I'm doing a great job cleaning up the ceiling. I'm cooking well, too. It's already mid-March. I'll see you again. I miss you a lot. Unity!"

Soon after Jungkook’s message fans went nuts and took to social media, particularly X (formerly known as Twitter), to express their happiness. Many also expressed how they have been waiting for this message

Notably, all the BTS members Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung including Jungkook have enlisted for the South Korean mandatory military service. However, the septet will be making a comeback in 2025 after all the members are relieved from the service.
