Elton John

Elton John is an English musician. He rose to international fame in 1970 after releasing his single "Your Song." Nicknamed the "Rocket Man" after his 1972 hit song of the same name, John's collaboration with lyricist Bernie Taupin since 1967 has been one of the most successful in music history. Having released 31 albums since 1969, John is one of the best-selling artists of all time. He's sold over 300 million records worldwide, has received numerous awards for his contributions and has been heavily involved in charitable contributions to combat HIV/AIDS since the late 1980s.
