Pilot, passenger uninjured after small plane crashes in Bellevue

The pilot and passenger on a small plane were uninjured after their aircraft crashed in Bellevue Tuesday.

The Bellevue Police Department (BPD) posted about the crash near the 6500 block of 127th Avenue SE at 5:09 p.m. Officials said the two occupants appeared uninjured.

The plane, a Cirrus SR-22, was equipped with a CAPS parachute system which was successfully deployed, according to the BPD.

Authorities said they have contacted the National Transportation Safety Board.
