(WGN) — Pringles is bringing back a tangy fan-favorite after customers pleaded for its return.

The company discontinued its Honey Mustard crisps in 2022, sending fans into a frenzy online, Food & Wine reported. All of the demands for the flavor’s comeback finally paid off when Pringles announced last week that the chips would be returning to the snack aisle.

“Ask and you shall receive,” the company said in a press release.

Pringles also noted that Honey Mustard was its most requested flavor in the past two years.

“Pringles Honey Mustard has an incredibly passionate fanbase,” said Mauricio Jenkins, Pringles’ U.S. marketing lead. “Our diehard fans’ efforts paid off, and the delicious, tangy and subtly sweet Pringles Honey Mustard crisps are returning to shelves … for good!”

Before making the official announcement, Pringles dropped a few hints online — such as posting a photo of a yellow chip can on Facebook and blurring out the name of the flavor.

“It won’t be a secret for long, besties!!!” the caption read.

Unsurprisingly, most of the commenters assumed it was Honey Mustard, and they were right. Some users, on the other hand, were hoping for another flavor, like biscuits and gravy, house salad or grilled cheese. Maybe next time.
