"Please don't block intersections, streetcar tracks, sidewalks, or bike paths," NOLA Ready said.

NEW ORLEANS — Neutral ground parking is allowed until  8 a.m. on Tuesday, with heavy rain expected.

WWL Louisiana Chief Meteorologist Chris Franklin says the line of storms likely won't reach our area until well after midnight. While there will be a threat of some strong to severe storms between midnight and daybreak on Tuesday, they should be fairly isolated.

"Please don't block intersections, streetcar tracks, sidewalks, or bike paths," NOLA Ready said.

NOLA Ready also asks that you avoid flood waters and report flooding.
