LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being shot in the Russell neighborhood early Thursday morning.
According to LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell, officers responded to a call just before 2:00 a.m. of a reported shooting in the 3100 block of Vermont Avenue.
When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot.
He was transported to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Mitchell.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating, but has no suspects.
