Northbound lane of US-220 in Franklin Co. has reopened

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – VDOT reports the crash on US-220 near Sontag Road in Franklin County has cleared.

All lanes of traffic are now reopened.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Virginia Department of Transportation reports there is currently a tractor-trailer accident on US-220 near Sontag Road; Route 619E/W; Route 816N/S in Franklin County.

Vehicle crash on US-220 near Blackwell Road in Franklin County

The northbound lane and shoulder are currently closed. Traffic is backed up around .5 miles. Drivers can expect delays until further notice.
