Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has admitted to hating coming up against a particular team.

Rooney was recounting the many years he spent shining in the Premier League and Champions League with United.

While the club had tough tussles with Barcelona that they often lost, Rooney mostly recalls the battles against Jose Mourinho's Chelsea.

"The only team really which I could never win against for a few years was Chelsea," he told TNT Sports recently.

"I used to hate going to Stamford Bridge, and it was when Mourinho was there the first time. They were horrible to play against and were solid and organized.

"I always remember thinking: 'I don't know how anyone is going to stop them?' Then obviously we did, but it was always a tough game against them."
