The next-to-last tallies are in for the March 5 election in Napa County, though they changed little from the last update.
For the three Napa County Board of Supervisors races, candidates Amber Manfree, Belia Ramos and Liz Alessio all maintained their winning margins in updates issued by the county Election Division on Tuesday. But the results haven't been in doubt after earlier counts that included most of the ballots cast.
Tuesday's update was initially presented as the final official tally, but the Election Division later announced it would release final results on Thursday. Manual tally results and precinct-level results had not yet been reviewed as of Tuesday evening, the agency said.
Manfree, a geographer, led the 4th District race 3,913 votes to 3,393 over former Napa City Councilmember Pete Mott. Incumbent Supervisor Alfredo Pedroza didn't run.
Napa City Councilmember Alessio led the 2nd District race 6,340 votes to 2,011 over former Napa City Councilmember Doris Gentry. Ryan Gregory, the incumbent, did not seek another term.
Incumbent Supervisor Belia Ramos led the 5th District race 2,933 votes to 2,336 over American Canyon City Councilmember Mariam Aboudamous.
"With a 45.2% turnout, Napa County voters once again exceeded the statewide average of 34%,” Napa County Registrar of Voters John Tuteur said in a news release. “The canvass procedures that produced the official certified report included a manual tally of several thousand ballots from randomly chosen precincts to confirm the accuracy of the machine tabulation.”
The Statement of Vote with precinct-level results will be released by 5 p.m. Thursday. Contact Tuteur at 707-253-4459 or john.tuteur@countyofnapa.org with questions or comments.
