Investigation underway following Dover hotel parking lot robbery

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a parking lot robbery that happened early Wednesday morning.

At around 2 a.m., officers responded to the Capital Inn for a reported robbery, meeting with the 53-year-old male victim in the parking lot. The victim reported that he was approached by four men while in the parking lot. One of the suspects allegedly punched the victim while another suspect pulled out a firearm. The suspects then stole money from the victim and left.
