Julia B. Flowers OBITUARY

Julia Flowers was born May 28, 1934, to the late Charlie and Julia Magee in Magnolia, Mississippi. She was baptized at an early age and graduated from Rose Hill High School. Julia was a dedicated Mother of the East Glen Park Community. On Wednesday February 28, 2024, Julia made her transition to be with the Lord. She is preceded in death by her husband Ulysses Flowers, parents, brothers Effair, Alfred, James, Ollie, Arthur and Charlie Jr., sisters, Eunita Bowens, and Linnie Brumfield. She leaves to cherish her memory children Ulysses (Aquanetta), James, Patricia, Felicia (Winston) Garland, Jimmy (Chanda), and Brandon. One surviving sister Bertha Felton, 9 grandchildren,6 great grandchildren, 3 sisters-in-law and a host of other relatives, and friends. Visitation Friday, March 8, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. with family hours from 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at the Guy & Allen Chapel. Funeral Service Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Grace Church 269 West 57th Avenue Merrillville, Indiana 46410 Rodney C. Griffin Pastor, Rev. Marion J. Johnson officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.
