New distribution center coming to West Salem for First Supply LLC

First Supply provides a number of different building supplies including HVAC, plumbing and lighting.

The company already has locations across the region, including distribution centers in both La Crosse and Tomah.

Marketing communications manager Brooke Barney says the move to build in West Salem will offer customers "increased capacity, streamlined distribution, expanded inventory access, and advanced technology for optimized operations." The new facility will also add a hands-on training center focused on the trades.

Barney also clarified that the company is not leaving La Crosse and they will be retaining the jobs they currently have there.

First Supply expects to add roughly 100 jobs over the next number of years, Barney said.

Construction on the new facility begins in April.
