The murder of Laken Riley last month rocked Athens to its core. With a suspect in custody and the investigation continuing, the case lands in the office of District Attorney Deborah Gonzalez, who has appointed a special prosecutor to manage the matter. WUGA’s Alexia Ridley spoke to Gonzalez about the case and the politics surrounding it.
