Kate Middleton’s controversial uncle joins ‘Celebrity Big Brother,’ slams Prince Harry, Meghan Markle

Kate Middleton’s controversial uncle has entered the “Celebrity Big Brother” house in the UK — and he’s already opened up about the royals.

Gary Goldsmith, the younger brother of the Princess of Wales’ mother, Carole Middleton, joined 12 other celebrities on the British reality TV show as his niece continues to recover from surgery.

Goldsmith is known for being outspoken, and has never minced words when it comes to Middleton’s sister-in-law Meghan Markle and brother-in-law Prince Harry.

Speaking about Middleton in an interview with The Sun, Goldsmith, 58, said the mom of three is “beautiful on the outside, but more beautiful on the inside and really is a doting mom.”

“That’s why I got so upset with Harry and Meghan because you don’t put a stick into that spoke and reinvent history.”

“I’ve got pretty miffed when they had a pop at my beautiful niece who couldn’t say anything for herself,” he added.

Elsewhere, Goldsmith was asked about the Princess of Wales, who was seen for the first time on Monday since December.

“She is simply perfect,” he said of his famous niece in a short clip, before revealing how he met her husband, Prince William. “The first time I met William, Catherine was cooking and William said: ‘Hi, do you want a cup of tea?’”

“Very normal,” Goldsmith quipped.

When asked if Middleton would be tuning in to watch her uncle on the hit reality TV show, Goldsmith responded, “If so, it’ll be behind the sofa!”

Goldsmith also addressed his past controversies prior to his appearance on the show.

“I often read that people think I’m a bit of a bad boy,” he shared. “It’d be lovely to put the record straight, but winding people up is probably my favorite hobby. Every part of me is just riddled with mischief and danger.”

“I’m an absolute nightmare to live with,” he joked, adding, “There’s a reason why I’ve had four wives.”

Last year, it was reported that he was planning to release a tell-all memoir.

Goldsmith, 58, first teased plans to publish a memoir in 2013 after raking in $36 million through his successful IT business.
