The Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl Champions again in 2024.
It took the second-ever Super Bowl overtime period, but the Chiefs ultimately came out as the victors in their rematch with the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes, both likely a little sleep-deprived, are speaking to the media on Monday to discuss the 25-22 win.
The duo's Super Bowl LVIII win is their third as a quarterback-head coach combo and makes Kansas City the first back-to-back Lombardi Trophy winners in 20 years.
Reid was up first to the podium. He was introduced by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell — who rightfully introduced the Chiefs head coach as one of the best to ever do it.

The head coach, again, kicked off a Super Bowl press conference by insisting that he doesn't plan on retiring from football anytime soon. He said he doesn't understand why he keeps getting the question but that it must be one that comes with being the oldest coach in the league.
Reid is now among just five coaches with three Lombardi Trophies to their name. The others include Bill Belichick (6), Chuck Noll (4), Joe Gibbs (3) and Bill Walsh (3).
With Mahomes just entering his prime, the better question for Reid appears not to be if he plans on hanging up the headset but if he's capable of catching Belichick in wins and championships.

The Super Bowl MVP was introduced next.
The commissioner took a moment to call out the remarkable success of Mahomes in just his first six seasons in the league. Six straight AFC Conference Championship appearances, four Super Bowl appearances and three wins is a resume that leaves Mahomes in the rarified air of NFL Legends Tom Brady and Joe Montana.
Next up for Mahomes is a trip to Disneyland, where he will participate in his first Super Bowl victory parade.
