One dead in Hueytown hit-and-run

One person is dead after a hit-and-run Monday night in Hueytown.

The Hueytown Police Department says a male was found dead on the side of the road near the intersection of Hueytown Road and Walker Avenue at approximately 6 a.m. on March 26, 2024.

Police believe the person was hit by a vehicle that left the scene, and that the hit-and-run happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday night.
