SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) - A family of four, including two children, was killed after a vehicle crashed into a San Francisco bus stop last Saturday.

The youngest victim, a 3-month-old baby, was taken to the hospital but ultimately died on Wednesday. The family said his organs were donated.

His parents and brother also died in the crash.

“We loved Diego, Matilde, Jaoquim, and Cau deeply and are sure the love they showed to their family and friends will serve as their legacy,” the family shared in a statement.

The boy’s family also thanked the community for their support.

San Francisco police identified the vehicle’s driver as 78-year-old Mary Fong Lau. She was traveling eastbound on Ulloa Street when she crashed into the bus stop at the intersection of Lenox Way.

Lau was initially booked on several charges, including felony vehicular manslaughter, but authorities said their investigation remains ongoing.
