The New Orleans Coast Guard rescued two men and is searching for a missing boater after a boat collided with a rig ship off the coast of Grand Isle Tuesday. The collision happened 48 miles offshore of Grand Isle. A report was called in that the boaters were taking on water with two people onboard and a third man who fell overboard. The Coast Guard says an aircrew arrived on the scene and searched the area for the third man and says after no visual reports, they took the two men to an area hospital for treatment by helicopter. The men were conscious and responsive, according to the Coast Guard. A boat crew with the Coast Guard station Grand Isle is still searching for the other missing man.
