Last May, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank became parents of two, welcoming their second child, a boy named Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank. This weekend, to celebrate her 34th birthday, Eugenie shared a rare photo of her youngest child on her Instagram. "The best gift of all are my boys.. so on this birthday I'm cherishing family and loved ones," she wrote.

Being a mom, Princess Eugenie said last year, "positively impacted" her desire to do more. "Priorities change when you have children; you want to do everything you can for them—and for your grandchildren," she said. "August is only two but I hope that what I'm doing will seep through to him and that one day he takes it on, too." (The interview was before she gave birth to Ernest; Eugenie and Jack's older son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, is now three years old.)

In the photograph, Princess Eugenie wears a ribbed midi dress from Reiss and a headpiece designed by Emmy London. While it's unclear when the photo of Eugenie and Ernest was taken, it appears to be a more formal occasion, based on her outfit.

Eugenie's mom, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, also posted on Instagram for her birthday, writing, "Happy birthday to my amazing daughter @princesseugenie. I am so proud of the incredible woman you have grown up to be. You continue to amaze me every day in your hard work, your grace, kindness, and the care you show to others. You will always be my silly, sweet, smart, and thoughtful girl. I love you, Eugenie. Happy birthday."

Princess Eugenie is 11th in line for the British throne, behind her dad, Prince Andrew, her older sister, Princess Beatrice, and her niece, Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi. Her sons August and Ernest follow her in the line of succession.
