A Bellevue, Nebraska, man has been sentenced to 24 months in prison after pleading guilty to possessing child pornography.
Court documents said Ernest Ray Roberts, Junior, pleaded guilty to one count of possessing child pornography.
In August 2021, a Prairie Flower Casino employee found a cellphone on the floor. The casino tried to find the owner, and discovered child sexual abuse material was saved from the internet onto the phone.
They determined Roberts was the owner of the phone and he was arrested.
After he serves his sentence, Roberts will also by under supervised release for seven years.
