Woman charged after Charleston East End crash

CHARLESTON. W.Va. — A woman was charged with DUI causing injury after a Friday night wreck on Charleston’s East End that injured three people.

Charleston police said Teresa Thomas, 62, crashed her vehicle in the 2400 block of Washington Street East and then left the scene. Police found Thomas and the vehicle a few miles from the crash scene.

Two adults and a child were injured in the Washington Street collision.

An investigation into the wreck continues.
