‘How to Start a Business for Veterans’ workshop to be held in Hazel Park

Oakland County Veterans’ Services to host “How to Start a Business for Veterans” training workshop, from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at Hazel Park Community Center, 620 W. Woodward Heights, Hazel Park. Lunch will be served at noon.

The startup business training program is specifically designed to empower veterans with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the world of business. Led by
experienced mentors, this startup training will provide a checklist of action items to accomplish in order to get your veteran business off the ground.

The program is tailored to leverage veterans’ strengths while addressing any gaps in knowledge or experience.
