WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI – The 24-year-old woman charged with killing an Ypsilanti woman in a hit-and-run crash earlier this year was drinking alcohol prior to the impact, a prosecutor said in court on Thursday.

Courtney Waldick’s bond was raised from $50,000 to $100,000 cash or surety after a prosecutor told 14A-1 District Court Judge J. Cedric Simpson that Waldick had been drinking that evening and deleted texts she sent about the crash.
