Yoga exercises to improve your breathing

Sit or lie down comfortably, inhale deeply through your nose, filling your lungs with air, then exhale slowly through your mouth.

Pranayama

Sit in a comfortable position, use your thumb to close one nostril, inhale through the other nostril, then close it with your finger and exhale through the opposite nostril. 

Nadi Shodhana

Lie on your back with knees bent, place one hand on your chest and the other on your belly. Inhale deeply, feeling your belly rise, then exhale slowly, feeling it fall.

Diaphragmatic Breathing

Kneel or sit comfortably, open your mouth wide, stick out your tongue, and exhale forcefully while making a "ha" sound.

Simhasana Pranayama

Sit comfortably with a straight spine, gently constrict the back of your throat, inhale deeply through your nose, then exhale slowly through your nose

Ujjayi Breathing

Roll your tongue into a tube shape or purse your lips, inhale deeply through the mouth, then exhale slowly through the nose.

Sitali

Sit comfortably with a straight spine, take a deep breath in, then forcefully exhale through the nose by contracting the lower belly.

Kapalabhati

Sit comfortably, close your eyes and take a deep breath in, then exhale slowly while making a buzzing sound like a bee.
