'Multiple large bulges under her clothing ... led to her removing over 50 stolen items'

A woman who was wanted for shoplifting in three states was arrested in a fourth and police are crediting employees at a beauty supply store.

"Ulta Beauty employees recognized the woman from previous shopliftings at their location,” Delaware State Police said, “and locations in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey."

They called the police last Tuesday morning, March 19, when they saw the woman, who was “wearing black pants and a black puffy jacket, shoplifting.”

Troopers said they arrived in time to find Roslyn Washington of Philadelphia, “whose clothing matched the description for the suspect, exiting the business.”

They found more than that.

They “observed multiple large bulges under her clothing” and they asked her “about the bulges, which led to her removing over 50 stolen items that were concealed under her clothes.”

The merchandise was reportedly worth more than $2,000.

Washington, 43, was arrested and charged with two felonies: organized retail theft and shoplifting over $1,500.
