Half a century later, Frieren fulfills her promise. However, she still looked the same while Himmel and the others had aged.
After Himmel dies, Frieren is gripped by the reality of missed opportunities to truly connect with people.
With regret weighing heavy, she embarks on a new journey, intent on meeting new people.
Along the way, she encounters diverse individuals, such as her new companions, Fern and Stark. Thus began Frieren's new adventures with them.

The Frieren anime ended with 28 episodes and covered 60 chapters from the manga. By the end of the anime, the series has covered the First-Class Mage Exam arc in its entirety.
Therefore, after finishing the anime, fans can start reading the manga from chapter 61 titled Magic-Nullifying Crystal. This also marks the beginning of the Continued Northern Travels arc.
In chapter 61, 29 years have passed since Himmel’s death, and Frieren’s party ventures into the Saum Marshes.
