Wilson County Pct. 1 Constable Leonard Guzman
Wilson County officials have announced that Pct. 1 Constable Leonard Guzman has passed away.
Guzman had been hospitalized with a serious heart condition since last week; he passed away this afternoon, March 18.
He was first elected constable for Precinct 1 in 2020, after defeating Democratic incumbent Thomas “Wedo” Silvas in the November election. Guzman was on his way to serving a second four-year term, after winning the March 5 Republican primary; he was unopposed in the coming November general election.
