The Green Bay Packers are signing former Minnesota Vikings kicker Greg Joseph out of free agency for the 2024 season, his representative Brett Tessler shared on Tuesday. The 29-year-old kicker went 24-for-30 on field goals during the 2023 regular season and 36-for-38 on extra-point attempts.

Joseph kicked for the Vikings for the last three seasons. He holds Minnesota’s record for longest field goal at 61 yards. As the kickoff specialist, he also led the NFL in touchback percentage in 2021.

The Packers have kicker Anders Carlson on the roster whom they signed to a four-year rookie deal after drafting him in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Carlson missed six field goal attempts during his first season, four kicks from 40+ yards and two from 50+. He was also 34-for-39 on extra-point attempts. During the postseason, Carlson went 2-for-3 on field goals and 7-for-8 on extra points.
