MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas (KIAH) — A man and a woman were found dead inside a home by police following a welfare check on Montgomery County.
On Wednesday night at 9:30 p.m., deputies were called to the 25900 block of Avenue C in Dobbin.
Family members tried get a hold of the woman and man, but they couldn’t get through to them. That’s what led to the welfare check.
Police have identified the victims as 62-year-old Stacy Wright and 61-year-old Cathryn Wright.
The motive of the shooting is still under investigation. However, deputies do believe the two victims were the only ones involved in the shooting.
