Special PhotosActor and comedian Chris Tucker played Det. James Carter in the “Rush Hour” movies but he recently became an honorary Clayton County Sheriff’s deputy. Clayton County Sheriff Levon Allen recently swore in the Atlanta native. Tucker was born in Atlanta but grew up in Decatur and graduated from Columbia High School. Tucker is perhaps best known for the “Rush Hour” movies — which also starred Jackie Chan — but other credits include “Friday”, “House Party 3”, “The Fifth Element”, “Jackie Brown” and “The Silver Linings Playbook.” Here are some scenes from his recent visit to the CCSO.
