The terms of their divorce agreement were settled in October of last year, but the divorce itself wasn't finalized until the required six months passed before a judge's order could be placed in effect. The agreement requires Grande to make a one-time payment of $1,250,000 to Gomez with no future alimony. In addition to the payment, the pop star is required to give Gomez half of the sales of their Los Angeles home and pay up to $25,000 toward his attorneys’ fees. Getty Images The "Thank U, Next" singer and Gomez first started dating in January 2020, and they spent the pandemic quarantined together. The pair later appeared together in the video for Justin Bieber's charity single “Stuck With U” in May 2020, announced their engagement in December, and formally tied the knot at their Montecito home on May 15, 2021. News of Grande and Gomez's separation broke in July 2023 but was finalized on February 20, 2023. At the time, a source told People that the pair was "taking their time together to slowly work through the details of the agreement privately." The source added, "They’ve been really caring and respectful of one another through every step of this process." The split appeared to be amicable, with the source calling their uncoupling "kind and patient" and noting that both parties had "moved on." Grande is currently in a relationship with her Wicked co-star, Ethan Slater.
