Dressed casually in a dark grey t-shirt and matching oversized tracksuit bottoms, Romeo Beckham appeared oblivious to onlookers as he walked hand in hand with his ex Mia Regan.
The 21-year-old son of Victoria and David Beckham has now sparked intrigue over his relationship status as it wasn't that long ago it was reported that he had joined a dating app following his split with Mia. Engrossed in conversation, the pair seemingly had a tight grip on each other as they embarked on a shopping trip in west London. Mia was also dressed casually in a loose fitting grey t-shirt, teamed with baggy denim jeans and a khaki green jacket.
Before the split, which was announced by Romeo on Instagram last month, the couple had been dating for five years. In the post Romeo wrote: "Mooch and I have parted ways after 5 years of love. We still have a lot of respect for each other, and still hold a strong friendship and always will." Mia then confirmed Romeo's statement and claimed they had "friend-zoned each other" in a separate post.
The exclusive pictures of the pair comes after the Mirror revealed that Romeo had joined a dating app following his shock split. The second eldest of four children, had joined the celebrity dating app titled Raya just two weeks after they had called time on the relationship.
A source told us at the time earlier this month: "Romeo is on Raya. His profile is colourful but subtle and his bio says he's a 'professional footballer'. His photos are mostly just him on his own and he doesn't have any with his famous dad David or mum Victoria. He looks gorgeous in them all and it's doubtful that any girl in their right mind would swipe left on him."
Ahead of confirmation of their split, a separate source told us: "Romeo and Mia had a fallout… they aren’t together at the moment. They were living together, but Mia has apparently moved out of the place they shared and is staying with her parents. They've split up in the past and got back together again, but this time it feels more serious – Mia moving out obviously points to it being more than just a tiff."
They added: "While Romeo was playing for Inter Miami, he and Mia both found the long-distance relationship difficult. But Romeo really felt that Mia was the one for him so after he returned to Brentford, he was keen to give things another go."
The source continued: "Unfortunately, they seem to have hit yet another bump in the road and only time will tell if they patch things up. It will be a shame if they can’t, as Mia is a big favourite with Romeo's family. But ultimately, everyone just wants them both to be happy."
